Justin Arney, Funeral Director Office Phone: 254-778-3200 Fax: 254-778-3206   My name is Justin Arney, Funeral Director at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home. I have been a licensed director for 17 years. I was introduced to the funeral business in 1992, by David Cook who was the owner of Hoelscher Funeral Home in Rosebud, Texas. Under David I learned about caring for families during the most difficult time of their lives. He taught me to serve families in a way that would help bring them comfort and peace. Ever since then I have dedicated myself to serving families in their time of need.

Amanda Arney, Directors Assistant and Office Manager Justin and I have been married for 15 years and we have 4 children.  Besides raising our children, assisting Justin with the funeral home has been the most fulfilling job I have ever had.  Being family owned and operated we are able to help families in so many ways and our caring for them truly comes from the heart. Each one of our families is special to us and in a small way becomes part of our family here at the funeral home which makes me want to help them that much more. We are privileged in serving each of our families.

Margaret Arney, Assistant Office Manager As you can see by my last name of Arney as well, this is truly a family operated business. Years ago I would never have believed that my life would have taken the direction of working with families at the funeral home. But when I stop and think about it, it is very fitting. I have experienced loss in my life from parents to a child. I believe this has given me the ability to connect with our families in a special way. We try to provide a warm, comforting, home environment that we feel assists our families with the difficult decisions and burdens that they face.

J. Carlton Godfrey, Preneed Councelor I have been a part of Temple for over 45 years, and love being involved in the community. Helping people at the funeral home has been one of the most fulfilling things I have done. Every family I am given the honor of working with is a family that I know won't be faced with the difficulties of being caught unprepared for their final expenses and services. The most difficult thing we face in our line of work is meeting with a family that has never talked about death let alone what their loved ones wishes would have been.
