Obituary

Connie Lynn Craig, age 70, of Waco, Texas passed suddenly from this life during the afternoon hours of Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Waco. Born on the 22nd day of July 1950 in Waco, Texas Connie was the daughter of William Eugene and Anna Pearl (Fentress) Harrison.

Connie attended school in Fort Worth, TX at Polly Technical High School where she also graduated from. A couple years after graduating she married the love of her life Gary Alvin Craig in Fort Worth. In her younger years Connie was a part of the Blue Bird Organization. Connie spent much of her life in the town of Watauga, Texas. In 2007 she moved to the Waco area and has been a resident ever since. Connie was a bookkeeper for most of her life, an advisor at Dwyer Group Co., and she also owned a few restaurants. Connie was a very hard-working, loving and supportive mother who would do anything for her kids or grandkids. She loved family gatherings, studying about her heritage and cooking meals she could enjoy with her family. Connie was a faithful Christian, attending the Baptist church when she was able. God was especially important to her; she knew following his word would lead her onto the right path. Connie will be missed dearly by her friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers.

Connie leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Gary Craig of Waco, her daughter Peggy Ann McDaniel of Waco, and her three sons Don McDaniel of Waco, John Craig of Fort Worth, and Michael Craig of Troy. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory her twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Everyone is welcome to join the family directly after the service at Hillsboro City Park for fellowship. If you would like to bring a dish to share and a lawn chair please do.
