Obituary for Glenda Fayrene Moseley (Davidson)

Glenda Fayrene Moseley, age 83, of Morgan’s Point Resort, TX passed from this life during the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 9th, 2022, at her home. She was born on the 12th day of November 1938 in Temple, TX to parents Walter Smith Davidson and Mildred Queen Shepperd.

Glenda lived in Cameron from 1960-1995 until moving to the Bell County area, where she would reside. She worked as the director of Rural Operations for the Hill Country Transit District for most of her life until retiring in 2013. Glenda also owned MGM Travel and MGM Defensive Driving School. She served on the advisory board for the central Texas council of governments and as Milam County election judge. Glenda was also a part of the Cameron senior citizens center, Milam County red cross blood bank, and the Girl Scout leader in Cameron. She was one of five founding members of the Community Transportation Association (CTAA) National Rodeo committee. Glenda was a licensed paramedic and EMT instructor for the Texas Department of health. Glenda will be deeply missed by many friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Paul Davidson and W.S. Davidson Jr., sister Jo Ann Jordan, and son-in-law Michael Pruitt.

Glenda leaves behind to cherish her memory her son John Allen Moseley and wife Tammy of Harker Heights, daughter Meredith Pruitt of Morgan’s Point Resort, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
