Michael Damian Wright, age 30, of Temple passed unexpectedly from this life during the morning hours of Friday, April 29, 2022, at his home. He was born in Temple on the 15th day of September 1991 to parents Valentino Morales and Michelle Marie (Hattemer) Wright.
Michael grew up in Temple and attended Temple High School. He enjoyed fishing, wood working, and working on his cars. He was a talented artist as well; he loved to paint and draw. The love of Michael's life was his daughter Mila. He loved to spend time with her playing, making art, and fixing her hair, which he was pretty good at. Michael’s sense of humor was second to none; he loved to joke and cut up with his sister Valentina (Chix) Morales. His compassion for others and the love he has for Mila will be his lasting legacy for many years to come. He attended Canyon Creek Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his father Valentino Morales, grandmother Roberta Hattemer and Uncle Matthew Hattemer.
Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Mila Wright, mother Michelle Wright, brothers Steven and Brian Wright, and sisters Valentina (Chix) Morales, Marleina Conrad, Aulani Guerra, and Kiana Kanoa. Also surviving are his grandparents John and Janie Hattemer.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 11 o’clock a.m. at the Belton New Life Fellowship with Senior Pastor Roger Petty officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ebenezer Children Hope Orphanage. You can make an online donation in Michael’s honor at www.givesendgo.com/echohope.
