Obituary

Noah “Adam” Reyna Mendoza, age 53, of Rogers passed from this life during the early morning hours of Monday, October 12, 2020 at his home. Born on the 20th day of July 1967 in Cameron, TX. He was the son of Martin and Maria Rosa (Reyna) Mendoza.

Adam grew up in the Buckholts area where he attended school in Buckholts in his younger days. He has lived in Rogers for the past 25 years. Adam was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing softball, and football as well as rooting for his favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys. He also loved to coach his girls and his grandchildren in their sporting activities. Adam never met a stranger; he was a guy that everyone knew and loved. His sense of humor was second to none as he loved to joke around and laugh. He enjoyed singing and dancing as well as sitting down to relax to an old western or Disney movie. Adam’s love for his family and his love for making people smile will be his lasting legacy for generations to come.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandmother Inez Reyna.

Adam leaves to cherish his memory his wife Diane Mendoza of Rogers, daughters Gabbey Dillard and husband Jerry of Zabcikville, as well as Savannah and Marissa Mendoza both of Temple. Along with his three grandchildren, Tatum Dillard, Arrianna Mendoza, and Andrea Mendoza. He is also survived by nine siblings Manuel, Martin and Jesse Mendoza, Irene Grando, Sally Mendoza, Angie Montalbo, Margie Rivera, Lydia Mendoza and Eleanor Reyna.

A funeral service will be held at Ocker Brethren Church on Sunday, the 18th of October 2020 at 2 o’clock p.m. with the burial to follow at the Rogers Cemetery. The family will be accepting visitors at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home on Saturday, the 17th of October 2020 from 6 to 8 o’clock p.m.

Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with the arrangements.
