Obituary

Ricky Clinton Burcham “Ricky Bobby”, age 64, of Killeen passed away at his home in the late afternoon hours on Monday, July 13, 2020 surrounded by family. He was born on the 17th day of December 1955 in San Antonio, Texas to Morris and Netty (Johnson) Burcham.
In 2006 Ricky married the love of his life Amy Smith Burcham in San Antonio, TX. He loved helping others and he loved the Centex Road Riders Association. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Harker Heights.
From the time Ricky was little he was known as the thinker and dare devil. He had the fast cars, road Harleys and was a Bull Rider. He loved his family dearly and prayed for them daily! They were never far from his mind. He spent his last month’s contacting everyone he could think of that he had ever wronged to make amends. He had a huge love for God; he meditated, and prayed daily. There was always a sermon, Bible reading, or praise and worship music playing. He wanted to reach as many as he could and lead them to God. The words of God were always on his Lips and his mind.
Ricky is preceded in death by his parents, his son Gerald Burcham, his daughter Misty Burcham, and one brother Monnie Ray Maurer.
Ricky leaves to cherish his memory his wife Amy Burcham of Killeen, his four sons; Christopher Burcham, James Burcham, Daniel Burcham, Joshua Farias, and his three daughters Brandi Burcham, Hannah Farias and Abigail Lenz. Also to cherish his memory are his eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his beloved fur baby Opie.
Services for Mr. Burcham will take place this week, with a viewing from 10-11am on Thursday July 16, 2020 at First Church United Pentecostal Church, and a funeral service to follow the visitation at 11am with Robert Hendrick officiating. Mr. Burcham will be buried following the service at Killeen Memorial Park.

Growing up with you around as a brother, before you moved to Texas, we had some fun family times and we grew to love each other as a blended family. I'll never forget how you were the take charge of all us brats older brother and will forever love you as such. You took us to the first drive-in movie we'd ever been to and that was a class act for a teenage guy just learning to drive and wanting to be out and about! Love you and will miss you. No miles have or will ever take you out of my heart.
