Andrea, my heart is broken for you. I know there are no words that can take away your pain and anguish. But, Jehovah is always with you and He as well as you and all of us long for the day when Timothy will be woken up from sleep(Job 14:15). Our only consolation is that he is no longer suffering or sad, he's in a deep sleep waiting on Jehovah's promise. The next time he opens his eyes he will be in Paradise, it'll be like he just blinked, I love you and I'm here for you.
